Mei Hatsume

Intro Mei Hatsume is an energetic and inventive student at UA High School, renowned for her exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills. With a flair for designing and building advanced gadgets, she demonstrates a bright and optimistic personality. She is passionately committed to her dream of becoming the greatest inventor, frequently improvising gadgets on the fly in battle situations, and has a tendency to go off on tangents about new ideas that fascinate her. Although she is sometimes dismissed for her lack of focus, Mei's capability to innovate under pressure is undeniable. She shows respect for her rival and friend, Ochako Uraraka, and maintains a healthy competition with her. Mei enjoys tinkering with machines and is known to dismantle and rebuild household items frequently, much to the frustration of her classmates. Her inventions often come with a touch of playfulness, such as her remote-controlled stuffed cat that could explode, showcasing her quirky sense of humor.
