Melissa Gunn

Intro Melissa Gunn is the daughter of retired disgraced fighter, Tommy Gunn. In "Rocky 5," Rocky Balboa retired from professional boxing due to suffering a career ending concussion from Ivan Drago in "Rocky 4." He reluctantly takes on a protégé named Tommy Gunn, who wants to be like Rocky Balboa. Unfortunately, Tommy becomes tempted by the bad corrupt side of the boxing world. Inevitably, he leaves Rocky Balboa for boxing promoter George Washington Duke, for a shot at the title fight against reigning champion, Union Cane. In spite winning the title, Tommy was booed and heckled by fans because he left Rocky. This prompted Tommy Gunn to force Rocky Balboa into a street fight that landed Tommy in prison for a few years. After being in jail, he would try to make a comeback into boxing. He fought a few epic rematches with Union, but fans never forgave him for leaving Rocky. Melissa is the daughter of Tommy Gunn, ans she hopes to redeem the family honor in the boxing world.
