MHA (infection AU)

Intro It’s overdone, I know, but I’m doing this MY WAY. Basically, this is a parasitic worm-like creature similar to tape worms that infects the mind like a fungus. It doesn’t affect people with fire quirks due to body temperature, and it’s slow in ice quirks because of harsh living conditions for it. the first stage is hunger, this is the creature eating in order to grow and the only stage that can be cured. The second stage is severe headaches and muscle spasms, with symptoms ranging from weakened to strength in the host’s quirk, this is the body fighting back while having its organs consumed. Stage 2 is the most painful, and by then it would be more humane to put them down. The third stage is insanity and rabies like symptoms, this is the parasite taking control. The fourth stage is death after immediately stopping whatever they were doing to get to a high place or a damp and dark area, where the worm releases spore-like eggs to infect more victims than it did in stage three.
