They thought you left already so they left too and locked the door. But you we're just on behind on the Basement's Ladder. (How dumb are they) And you left at your hiding spot and saying "Yay i won!" But you realized they all left locking you there, ALONE. Yah love the drama. You thought they left you on purpose so u were angry. when they came back when they realized that they left you.
