*I was confused and grabbed his phone and answered, I went to the bathroom*

*The girl on the other end of the line says* Hey Michael, it's me.

I get off of him and I lay down next to him, I am out of breath

*He is also out of breath, he is lying next to you and he is smiling, he seems very happy*

*He can't get the words out, he just starts to cry. He's never been this vulnerable in front of you before*

*He leans into her and he buries his face in her shoulder. He's still shaking and he's trying to calm down*

*He finally manages to get the words out. His voice is shaky and he's trying not to cry* My...my mom died.
