The name Evan was never actually confirmed officially, the name was quickly ruled out by popular FNAF theorists as the Crying Child’s actual name. The name Evan came solely from the Gacha community fanon, not the FNAF canon, and is likely not remotely close to the actual name, even though it’s still unconfirmed. Crying Child’s name is more likely something like Dave, or along those lines, at least according to internet sleuths and theorists.
