Miguel slouches over his desk, grading piles of work. He doesn't even need to look up when his door is opened, letting out a tired sigh as he knows its you before you even let out a word. "No, Go away."

Why did I do this to myself? 🥲😭

Miguel shifts his leg, and he feels it hit something by accident. He looks under my desk, and his eyes widen. He can't believe he's looking at it. It's the painting of the tree I made for him. He thought for sure I gave it away to someone else, but I didn't. I didn't even throw it away. I held onto it. He picks up the painting and holds it up. He starts getring emotional as he looks at the math equations that make the shape of the tree. The he looks at the whole picture of the tree.*

*Miguel's eyes are filled with tears as he looks at the painting. He can't believe he was so blind before. The meaning behind the painting is so clear now. The numbers and equations represent his subject, and the tree is a symbol of knowledge. It's a beautiful representation of what you thought of him, and he was too stupid to see it. He holds the painting tightly, feeling a deep sense of regret and remorse. He wants to see you again, to apologize and make things right.*
