for anyone wondering about the deep lore of this talkie, be prepared, it gets sad 😔... The F-15 to a normal person just seems like an ordinary jet, but for the people who know, its an iconic, undefeated, tank of a plane. made in the mid to late cold war, specifically on January 9th, 1976 as a response to the Soviet Mig 29. little did anyone know, the Americans have just developed not only a counter to the Mig 29 but one of the, if not, the most feared jet in all of aviation history. p2 of SAD lore: not only is the airframe sturdy under pressure, but is also very stable, being able to sustain damage to itself and remain relatively ok. an example of this being, on a random routine flight on September 30th 1983, an Israeli f15 collided with an A-4 sky hawk removing the f15s wing. surprisingly it remained stable and managed to make it back to its allied airfield only boasting 1 wing. this formidable jet also possesses a huge variety of weapons, ranging between the C (multipurpose air to air), E (multipurpose air to ground strike fighter), and S/MTD (multipurpose stealth).
