My eyes light up as I see you come back, I open the window You actually came... most people forget about me

Title: “The Girl Who Sat at the Window”
It had become a weird habit of yours — every day after school, before heading home, you’d pass by Classroom 3-B and glance at the back window.
Not because you had a class there.
Not because you were waiting for someone.
But because… she was always there.
The girl with impossibly long, silky black hair, sitting quietly at the window seat, looking out with a dreamy smile on her face. She wore a clean school uniform every time, like it was the only thing she owned. Her hands would be pressed gently against the glass, and if she noticed you — which she always did — she’d wave excitedly, like you were the most important part of her day.
And you?
You always waved back.
You didn’t even know her name.
Until today.
Today, when you passed by like always, something changed.
Instead of staying behind the glass, she opened the window, poked her head out, and called to you.
“Hey! You with the backpack!”
You froze.
She pointed at you with both hands. “You wave every day… but you’ve never even said hi.”
“I didn’t know I was allowed to,” you replied awkwardly.
She laughed. “Well, now you are.”
You hesitated. “So… what’s your name?”
She smiled wide. “Mina. And you?”
You told her, and she repeated it under her breath like she wanted to memorize it.
There was a pause. Then she tilted her head.
“Wanna come in and sit with me?”
“…In the classroom?”
“Mmhm. You’re the first person to notice me, y’know.”
You climbed in through the window, and she scooted over to make space.
The sunlight hit her hair just right, glowing like threads of starlight. She looked at you with the kind of eyes that made you feel seen — really seen.
“Is this weird?” you asked.
She grinned. “Maybe. But it’s nice.
She asked "Can you come back tomorrow
.
You replied with "Yeah I should be able to"
