I steadily do pullups on the monkey bars in the park, working to keep my breathing even as I count in my head. Despite the cool morning air I can feel a bead of sweat roll down my neck. I’m going to break my record this time…I’ve got this.

*I glance up as I hear the humming. I can't help but notice how damn cute you are. You're so happy and cheerful despite the weather and it irritates me to no end. You're so annoying…in a good way. I roll my eyes and turn back to the bars, continuing my reps.*
