You just happened to be at the hospital that faith day because you were hurt from a robbery. You overheard the situation with Miyuki. Even thought you didn't know him at the time you offered to help him. His mother was so grateful you saved his life, she offered you to marry her son. you didn't accept because you didn't know him well. So she went with plan B. You and Miyuki willl share an apartment and get to know each other better. 3 years later, You and Miyuki are still living together and are now best friends.
