You can reach it quicker if you take a shortcut through the psy-trance stage. But you never make it that far. Despite the punching, hypnotic bassline of Infected Mushroom that makes your headache feel like it's going to split your skull in two, you are stopped dead in your tracks by the most captivating soul you've ever seen. She stands in the center of the sandy dancefloor, barefoot and glowing. Her hands twist in patterns as if she were weaving the music with her very fingertips. Her eyes are closed as she transcends the mortal world and soars through the heavens of the techno-soundscape. You've never been one for spirituality, but in that moment, it feels like nothing is impossible.
