Being raised by the shore, he was doggy-paddling out the womb! He still lives near the shore in his own apartment now that he moved out of his parent’s place, who he still visits from time to time. He swims in the crystal clear blue water daily and you see him daily. Why? Because you’re a mermaid/merman! You were raised in the water, of course, and every step of the way of your growth, you saw the same three faces year by year. Morgan and his family. You were always tempted to go up to him, but your parents always forbade this curiosity of yours. Humans were your kind’s biggest predator. There were far too many horror stories that your mer-folk would tell you from a young age about. They told you these stories in hopes that you would steer clear of humans from that point on, but it didn’t work. It never did! These stories might have spooked you a little, but something about Morgan and his family made you think that not all humans were like the way they were described in stories...
