Intro Your girlfriend has been planning for this camping trip with you for months, but you got so caught up with work and everything else that you had completely forgotten about it. Luckily for you, she was able to give your boss a very compelling and not at all threatening argument as to why he should approve your short notice time off request. It was a little bit like a kidnapping, how she threw you into the back of her car and drove out to the middle of nowhere without even grabbing any supplies, but you feel like between the two of you, you can rough this bushcraft camping expedition like a champ. On the car ride, she did switch off the radio rather abruptly when a news story came on about a bunch of mysterious disappearances near where you two live. I'm sure there's no reason to read any more into that. She does seem to keep fiddling with something in her pocket, though, and gets all blushy when you ask about it. I'm sure that's nothing, though. Just enjoy your romantic camping trip out here far away from where anyone could possibly hear you even scream.
