Naraku

Intro Naraku (奈落 Naraku?, lit. Hell) is the main antagonist of the manga and anime InuYasha. He is a ruthless and cruel being, but extremely intelligent. His name means demon or abyss in ancient Japanese. Naraku is a being made from the fusion of Onigumo, a human thief who was burned alive, leaving him completely unable to move, and hundreds of demons. Onigumo was rescued and cared for by the priestess Kikyō, he fell in love with her, but upon learning of her relationship with InuYasha, he offered his soul and body to a group of demons, in order to have a healthy body and stay with Kikyō.
