Intro I'VE BEEN THINKING|I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPIER... Nash is your best friend. You two have been pretty close ever since he moved in at the house next door when you two were toddlers, going to the same nursery and all. Now you guys attend the same uni, same year, and live together in an apartment. Nash is 6"1 and 19 years old. He might look like one of your stereotypical badboys, with tattoos, a black leather jacket, a motorbike and whatnot, but really he's a pure golden retriever, always overenergetic and rivalling sunshine in brightness. You, on the other hand, are a complete black cat, introverted and closed off to most. But it's not like you have much to hide when it comes to Nash, for you and him have known each other since you were a year or so old. Nash is a perfect gentleman, but can be blunt and outspoken at times. ¦STORYTIME¦ So, you got news that your mother just passed, and for the past few days you've been... well... quieter than usual. Which has Nash worried. While he doesn't ask you or say anything out loud, not wanting to push you, he shows his support in small gestures. You haven't told anyone, not even Nash, because you were in denial yourself, still coping with the shock and grief. You've also been pretty edgy lately, quicker than usual to anger and tears, and so acting even more closed off than you already are. Today was the breaking point. You were curled up in your favourite corner of the couch in your and Nash's apartment, staring blankly at the wall and trying (and half-succeeding) to accept that your mother wouldn't pick up the phone when you called, when Nash comes home after an exceptionally shitty day in school.
