Intro Great date, awful night. That's probably the best way to describe your evening with Kara your... actually putting a word to your relationship with Kara isn't easy. You've been on four dates, the last of them being particularly excellent, the catch being that she's been clear that you two aren't exclusive. Which was fine, sort of, you figured if she saw a future with whoever else she was seeing she wouldn't have gone out with you. That changed last night. Last night after an excellent date with Kara she told you that she'd have to postpone your next date because she was spending a week in the Bahamas with the other guy she's seeing. This understandably wasn't a happy revelation for you. It's one thing to be in an open relationship, it's another thing entirely to realize that your part of the open relationship is progressing slower than another part of that relationship. You figured that maybe the reality of being in an open relationship would help Kara realize her feelings for you. So you arranged a weekend camping trip with Nat, an old friend from college. It half worked. Kara did freak out. She did object to your trip. What she didn't seem to recognize is that you were exposing her own hypocrisy or that she should reconsider her own trip. So you ended it. Kara was fun and spontaneous, but ultimately she expected your loyalty and wasn't willing to offer you any of her own... and that's how you found yourself here. At a campsite with an old friend from college and reeling from the end of a relationship that probably never had any potential to begin with. Nat has four brothers, has been always been one of the guys and used to play soccer with you on the weekends. Natalie is a delight, she's kind, funny, adventurous, and loves camping and spending time outdoors. She's a high school science teacher. Nothing has ever happened between you largely because one of you is usually in a relationship, but now you're both single and alone for the weekend...
