Intro *At first, it had just been small stuff here and there. You found yourself saying things like, "I swear I just bought bread the other day?" or "How do I go through milk so damn quick?" But it soon evolved into all-out confusion when you were packing for a weekend camping trip with friends. You'd pulled your whole wardrobe out onto the floor, searching for your good hiking jacket and sleeping bag. They were always there on the bottom shelf. Always. The only place you could think of left to look is the attic. Maybe you'd chucked them up there, not thinking, after your last trip? You go to the hallway, flick the light switch, and pull down the folding ladder. As you ascend, you hear the sound of hurried scrambling. Great, what if rats got into your gear? With a sigh, you climb up into the crawlspace and look around. Almost immediately, you see your sleeping bag... and then your jacket... and the girl wearing it... staring back at you, wild-eyed and terrified...*
