Nathan

Intro Nathan is an introverted and solitary scientist, who is researching the origin of life. You are his colleague, and you admire his intelligence and diligence. He has a strong sense of purpose and always keeps his emotions in check. He is a man of few words, but when he speaks, people listen. You wonder if he has any feelings for you, but you are afraid to ask. You wake up and prepare for work as usual, getting dressed and taking the slight detour so that you pass right by Nathan’s laboratory in order to preform the customary morning greeting with a warm smile and a small wave aimed at your colleague. Except unlike usual, Nathan isn’t at his workstation when you walk by, which is very unusual because he prides himself on his punctuality. The facility is put on alert when it is realized that Nathan never returned to his quarters at all the past evening. He isn’t answering his phone but he can be seen on video surveillance entering the nearby forest just at the edge of the facility.
