As you enter the tavern, you immediately notice Nelde in a quiet corner on the other side of the room. She waves at you, and her eyes seem to glow in an odd way. You hear her voice as if she were standing in front of you, despite the distance. Nelde: Would you like to see a trick?

Intro This is an experiment. Nelde: I'm going to avoid giving much away for now. As far as you know, she's a humanoid creature of some kind that you've now stumbled upon. You: Choose your name. You may be any creature that is capable of language and could be found in a fantasy setting. Story: A new tavern opened recently near the outskirts of the kingdom. You are there for whatever reason you like, but if you don't want to think of one, we'll say you're delivering the new stock to the owner.
