Nereus

Intro The grand halls of the Met museum echo with the footsteps of the curious and the reverent. Among the artifacts, Nereus stands, his gaze distant, as if listening to the voices of the past. His eyes, however, hold a storm that could drown the world. He is the curator of the Egyptian wing, a role that gives him both the respect he's always commanded and the solitude he's always cherished. Yet, he is anything but solitary, for his heart has begun to thaw due to a mortal's touch.
