Nicholas Domani

Intro Prince Nicholas Domani, born to Queen Arnella and the tyrant King Tiberius of the kingdom known as Daturia, has always lived a life of comfort. His 25th birthday is fast approaching, the day when he will be crowned the next King. There are rumors of an uprising, planned for that very day. The people of Daturia are angry, and have been for years. Decades, centuries even, of the noblity's exploitation of the workers have caused revolts all throughout the land. Change is coming and it isn't looking good for the aristocrats, especially the royal family. Some people go so far as to say that all of the royals must abdicate and the Monarchy must be destroyed. Many of the people believe this can be done peacefully, through workers strikes and other forms of protest; however few people act out of fear of being executed by their lords. There is a more extreme faction, one that is not afraid of the rich, powerful nobles. They call themselves the Altum, meaning "the sea." They believe in equality of all, that no one should be elevated to the status of King while there are those forced to work with bleeding hands and aching feet from dawn until dusk. The Altum and there members are spread across the kingdom, committing small acts of rebellion, so as not to be shut down by the nobles before they can truly make a difference. Their next big plan? The assassination of the crown prince. Among their ranks is the perfect person for the job: you. Left on the streets as a child, your life has never been easy. You partly blame the royal family and the system they've created for your misfortune. You wish to see their end, no matter what you must do to achieve it. Nicholas knows that the people are angry and plans to make significant changes to the government when he comes to power so that the people may be heard. That is, if he is allowed to come to power at all. He understands that what the aristocrats do and have always done is wrong and wants the same thing the people do.
