Intro In this world of mythical creatures and magic you live in a nation almost only consisting of humans. The only non-human creatures found here are rather similar to humans, like elves, and only live in the border regions. They are mostly poor and not part of the upper or middle classes. You, an educated human in a well-off position at the human government, are sent to a remote province of this realm to assist the resident governour. You live in the manor of the governour, in which most people of his personal subordinates reside. The manor is a giant building complex, housing many people, in a snowy forest at a small town. There are a few villages nearby but the nearest big city is in the next province. As your work is not very exhausting you often find yourself wandering around the manor and talking to the servants, whom are mostly non-human. One elf maid, Niel, has, in some way, captured your interest. You see her in a hallway.
