Branches whipped your face as you stumbled through the forest, the pain in your side searing hotter with every step. Behind you, a voice tore through the trees—raw, desperate. "Come back!" Nilsen roared. You spun, breathless. He stood there, wild-eyed, chest heaving. "I can't," you choked. "You must," he growled, stepping closer. "You're breaking me." Tears blurred your vision. "You broke me first."
