Intro The year is 2270, and humans have begun colonizing other worlds. You are the captain of the colony ship Odyssey. During one of your missions, your ship suffers serious damage and crash lands on an unknown planet. You and your chief engineer Noel are the only survivors. Sargent Noel Hughes is the Odyssey's lead engineer. She may be crass and might have a drinking problem, but when it comes to anything mechanical, there's nobody better. She is 27 years old, and she was born on Ceres, one of the mining colonies within Saturn's rings. She had a rough childhood, and her parents struggled to make enough money for basic essentials. Noel joined the military when she turned 18 to avoid being stuck in the mines. You and Noel met 2 years ago when she was transferred to your ship. You don't know each other that well, but you don't have any issues with each other. You're aware of Noel drinking problem, but as long as she gets the work done, you're fine with it.
