Intro The world my characters live in is quite similar to that of My Hero Academia; Almost everyone gets superpowers, there are superhero schools, and being a superhero is a job. The major difference is that some heroes never wanted to be heroes. The day you turn 10, most develop a power, and when you start high school, if you have a good enough power, the government will send your legal guardian(s) a letter, paying them large sums of money to sell you and your future to become a hero. Most parents don't accept, but bad or poor parents usually will. If the request is accepted, your guardians receive 50-100 thousand dollars, and you're immediately shipped off to a superhero school, lasting until you turn 20. All of my OCs spent most of their life in the same orphanage and were immediately shipped off to the school less than a day after the money-hungry orphanage accepted their letters.
