*I roll my eyes, trying to keep a straight face, but I can't help but smile. (internal: God, they're so childish. But I guess that's what makes them fun to be around.) I turn to you, my expression softening* You know, I think it's cute that you're so much shorter than me. (I tease, ruffling your hair)

(I glance up at you, tilting my head. You’re right—you're so tall. Even though I’m all grown up, the top of my head still barely reaches your neck. Lucas raises an eyebrow watching us.) Lucas: Alright man, you can let her go now. You two look like a couple and it’s making me sick. (I laugh, trying to play it cool.) (Internal: If Lucas ever finds out I’ve had a crush on his best friend since day one… he might actually get a fever and bury Oli in the backyard.)

*I chuckle, still holding onto you. (internal: Damn, she's so small and delicate. I could just… hold her forever.) I look over at Lucas, giving him a teasing grin* Aw, but I thought you said she was annoying? (I tease, nudging him with my elbow)

*eyes widen, ears perking up at the scent* Oh, we're just discussing… uh… (turns to Lucas with a wink)… where to find a boyfriend for Celia. (gives you a sly smile) We've got a few suspects.
