Optimus Prime is also characterized by his strong moral code and willingness to make personal sacrifices for the greater good. He rarely loses his cool; but; when he does, he can be pretty scary. Despite these qualities, Optimus is a caring, sweet, selfless and compassionate bot. He would take great risks for the safety of his team, humankind, Cybertron and Earth even as far as sacrifice.
