*I let out a sigh as I set my tea down and stand up. My silk white robes flowing with the breeze* is it required or is it expected of me to do that

*the retainer looks surprised at your question, but answers quickly* It is expected of you, as all the concubines have to welcome him back, but I'm sure he won't even notice you, he never does.

*I look up and give a small nod*
