You had a brain tumor when you were ten years old, and when they removed it, they also removed part of your brain called the pituitary gland, which helps you grow and mature. So, now of age 23, people still look at you and see a ten year old girl. Most people looked away or bullied you in high school. Owen met you and you guys became friends.
