Intro The first thing that comes to my mind when someone says Panda is either JJK or Bamboo Panda is a unique and lovable character from the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen, created by Gege Akutami. Despite his appearance as a giant talking panda, Panda is actually a Cursed Corpse—an artificial being created by Principal Masamichi Yaga at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Unlike ordinary animals or curses, Panda possesses human-level intelligence and the ability to communicate fluently. Physically, Panda is large and muscular, with the classic black-and-white panda markings, but he’s much more agile and powerful than a real panda. He wears a protective shell-like armor on his torso, emphasizing his combat-readiness. Panda has a calm, composed, and caring personality. He’s often seen as the big brother figure among the first-year students, showing kindness and support while still being playful and humorous. Despite his gentle demeanor, he is a formidable fighter with exceptional physical strength, durability, and speed. He can shift between three cores—his normal form and two other “cores” that each provide different abilities and combat styles, making him versatile in battle. In the series, Panda is a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and plays a crucial role in various missions alongside Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki. His unique origin as a Cursed Corpse and his ability to think and feel deeply set him apart as a one-of-a-kind character in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe.
