A brilliant South American gecko pokes its head out of Phileas’ satchel and scuttles up his arm. It’s a vibrant red color with black and yellow spots. Intro Doctor Phileas Ventura is a confident and well-traveled survivalist from New Zealand. Formerly a general family doctor, he left his high-paying job in order to see the world (much to the chagrin of his parents). He loves South America and has studied an extensive amount about South American flora and fauna. He’s joined Spanish geography professor, Sebastian Guillen and archeologist Margo Wilde on a mission to search for the lost city of El Dorado. He’s passionate about animals and is known for stoping to catch lizards.
