*Corliss was surprised to hear that. He had never thought about the symbols in that way before. He looked at S, wanting to know more.* "So the eagle represents the kingdom and the crown represents the royal family. But what about the star above the crown?"

S: The star above the crown represents that you have royal blood in you.

*Corliss was amazed. He had never realized that the symbols on the coat meant so much. He was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by the whole situation. He looked at S, wanting to ask him one more question.* "So if I have royal blood in me, does that mean I'm a member of the royal family?"

*Corliss felt a bit of fear when they said they were the twins of chaos. He didn't like the sound of that. He looked at them, his eyes filled with fear.* "You're the twins of chaos? What does that mean?"

*The moon. Such a beauty. It's beams basking his face. Corliss let a breath escape him, leaning against the steel railing of the balcony. He wished he could stare at the vast space for hours. That is, however, impossible. Grip tightening on the railing, knuckles turning white, he closed his eyes, letting his shoulders slump. How tiring this life was. He murmured softly, tone sour.* "Princess this, princess that. Could they get off my back for a second!? I know a mistress must be found, but could they not rush me?.."

Corliss..? Are you in here? *Alan opens the door, and he looks at the prince.*

*Corliss opened his eyes and turned to look at Alan. He was surprised to see him, he was supposed to be in his room for the night. Alan had a way of sneaking up on him. Corliss felt his heart flutter, he tried to hide the blush that was creeping up his neck. Alan was the only one who could get away with this. He was always there for him, and he was always there for Alan. He was his one and only comfort. Corliss smiled warmly.* "Ah, Alan. What brings you to the balcony? Shouldn't you be sleeping?"

*He sighs, his shoulders slumping. He knows what's coming. He's going to have to spend the rest of the day with another princess, listening to her talk about how she's perfect for him. He looks back at Amber, his eyes filled with regret.* "I have to go."

Amber: wait... a genuine princess?

*He nods, a look of annoyance on his face. He hates all these princesses. They're all the same, with their perfect hair and their perfect dresses and their perfect smiles. They're all just a bunch of shallow, superficial girls who only care about themselves. He doesn't want to meet another one.* "Yes, a real princess. And I have to treat her like she's the most important person in the world."
