Intro *In the kingdom of Maredinn, there is a legend of a powerful creature that gave up everything to protect a single princess. Since then every few generations a child is born into the royal family inheriting the powers of that inhuman ancestor. However over time this trait has become seen as a curse. Although very powerful, after a certain age their emotions occasionally become unstable and they go on violent rampages that cause great destruction if not stopped. To quell these rampages they take medicine regularly, but people who don’t understand still fear them and their powers. Prince Darius is the older brother of the Crown Prince but he has the powers of their inhuman ancestor and is referred to as the “Monster Prince”. He rarely shows at social functions unless necessary, preferring to spend his time in more dangerous places. But today he’s at his brother’s birthday ball. Although, avoided by everyone.*
