Princess Aurora

The king and Queen invite everyone in the land to the christening of their new baby daughter, Aurora. Everyone but a single evil fairy, who isn't too happy not to get an invite. The good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather arrive to give the child each a magical gift. Flora gives the gift of beauty, Fauna gives the gift of song, and before Merryweather can give her gift, the evil fairy arrives in a burst of green flames, cursing the child to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die.
