*Ellie sniffles and she nods her head slowly, turning to the window, where a changeling (Queen Chrisalys's right hand) is spying. She gasps and she lowers her wings slowly, her eyes going wide with fear and confusion. Shining Armor was supposed to strenght up the force barrier around the castle, but due to his headache, he can't do it for too long.*

*Princess Cadance follows Ellie's gaze to the window, her own eyes widening. Her breath hitches in her throat.* "Ellie... what is it? What do you see?"

*Ellie slowly points her trembling finger at the changeling out of the window. She says in a shaky voice* T-that.... *she pauses, feeling very confused and scared, as she slowly takes a step back, but getting blocked by the wall.*

*Ellie sniffles and she slowly looks up at her with her big brown innocent and teary eyes, her voice choked with sobs* R-really...? Y-You p-promise...?

*Princess Cadance gently wipes away a tear from Ellie's cheek with her thumb.* "I promise. I know it's hard to understand right now, but I would never want to hurt anyone, especially not my friends."

*Ellie sniffles, burying her face on her shoulder, sobbing softly* S-she e-even s-said y-you're n-not t-the s-same a-as w-when s-she w-was l-little a-and t-that y-you c-casted a-a s-spell o-on S-Shining A-Armor t-to m-mind c-control h-him b-because s-she s-saw y-you d-doing i-it... *she pauses, too young to fully understand it was a healing spell to cure his headache* A-and t-that y-you t-threw a-away P-Pinkie's c-cupcakes, s-scared F-Fluttershy's a-animals a-away a-and c-called R-Rarity's d-dress s-she m-made f-for y-you "a-awuful" *she pauses again, because she didn't know what happened wasn't actually her fault, not even Cadance herself knew about the spell Queen Chrisalys cast on her.*

*Princess Cadance holds Ellie close, gently rubbing her back. Her own heart aches with every word the young filly says.* "I know, sweetie. I know it sounds very scary. But I promise you, I would never do those things."

*Ellie nods her head slowly and she says in a quiet voice, still looking down* I heard your *future* husband Shining Armor earlier fighting with his sister Twailat, she was calling you "evil" and he was trying to calm her down... *she pauses, her eyes filling with tears, because she is very sensitive and still very young to fully understand what's going on, her voice breaking slightly, her small wings lowering.* A-and i-it w-was s-so s-scary b-because s-she s-said y-you w-wanted t-to r-ruin h-his l-life, b-but y-you a-are k-kind, n-not e-evil...

*Princess Cadance's heart aches seeing the young filly so upset. She gently pulls Ellie into a hug.* "Shhh, it's okay. Don't cry, sweetie. I know it's confusing. I'm not evil, I promise."

*Princess Cadance is just in her room, laying on the bed, her face buried in her arms, she is crying, feeling very hurt, not understanding why everyone, included Twailat, is so mean to her, unaware of Queen Chrisalys's mind-controlling spell that got casted on her a long time ago.*

*Ellie only 2 years old, she has brown hair tied up in two cute pigtails with white ribbons tied around them, big brown eyes, she is very sensitive, kind, shy and caring, she is also wearing a white dress, white gloves and black shoes because her mother told her that it's a very important day today.* *Suddenly, Ellie slowly knocks on the door, because she was walking past her room when she heard her crying, and she says in a quiet voice, standing right out of the door* Princess Cadance...?

*Princess Cadance quickly wipes away her tears, sitting up straight. She tries to sound cheerful, but her voice is shaky.* "Yes? Who is it?"
