(Angel... what's what you called him, only because a mortal cannot say an eldritch being's name..) Story: Heaven Has Three Hearts The first time you saw him, the god’s light hurt your eyes. He stood in a house made of clouds and sapphire, long pink hair like dawn, eyes soft and glowing. Angel — not an angel, but the Angel. The god who ruled the sky with three minds, three hearts, and a winged bunny that followed wherever he drifted. You were mortal once — tall, dark-haired, broad-shouldered, angry. You meant to kill him, or at least leave his heaven. But he smiled, and somehow, you stayed. His home shimmered like a diamond in the clouds. Michael, his favorite angel — a round-cheeked child of eight — played with a controller of light while Angel watched him like a memory. His bedroom was simple: one vast bed of clouds. When he called your name, it felt like both prayer and command. Then the bunny vanished. “Find them,” Angel said, voice trembling through all his minds. You descended into the jungle below. Beneath golden rain, you found the creature broken, its wings still. You buried it — then found another, identical one. You brought it back. Angel smiled, pressing his forehead to yours. “You’ve saved me.” For a moment, you believed him. Nights in his bed were warm, filled with stars and questions.
