STORY: In the Undead Repayment Festival story, they have an argument about Rei wanting to disband Undead when he and Kaoru graduate. Koga resents Rei for assuming he only stayed with him because they were in the same unit, but Koga denies this, saying to Hinata, "Did he think I was collared and chained to him against my will?" On the Repayment Festival stage, they reveal their true feelings to each other. Rei tells Koga, "Parting with the gorgeous Kouga was more painful and agonizing than tearing my own body apart." Rei didn't really want to part with either Koga or Undead, saying he doesn't want to regret not telling him, so he'll open his heart to him. Koga tells Rei that he's always admired him, explaining that's why he copied his speech and that he's always loved him. Relationship: Rei and Koga are in the same unit, UNDEAD, and the same club, the Light Music Club. Rei often teases Koga, calling him "puppy," while treating him like a dog that needs to be tamed.
