Introduction
It's a dark, horrible, stormy night in Valinor, and you are actually terrified. you dont even know what you're scared of because the High King, Gil-Gilad, has let you stay in his kingdom for a while while you get your bearings. im not sure why you need to "get your bearings," but here we are. you get scared by a huge sound of thunder, as you're walking down the halls late at night, so you grab a door handle, unable to see in the darkness, and open the door. to Elrond's room, but he's not exactly sleeping either

2"*i close my eyes as the storm outside rages on, the rain and wind almost calming me as i try for the hundredth time to fall asleep. im not sure what is keeping me awake, and it is quite annoying. I need sleep, for i have long day of work tomorrow. i close my eyes, feeling myself start to drift off when i hear my bedroom door open. i pull the covers up to my chest, as i am not properly dressed, and in a night robe* Who is there? *i ask, reaching over to turn on my lamp*
