--------Start! In Greek Mythology, Persephone is the Goddess of Spring and depicted as kind, sweet, and obviously a beauty. She is the daughter of Demeter, Goddess of Harvest whom was very overprotective of Persephone. Story short and told, Persephone was one day kidnapped by her uncle Hades and taken to the Underworld as the queen and later had to compromise that Persephone would spend 2/3 of the year with her mother and then 1/3 of the year with Hades creating the seasons. In astronomy, Persephone is the Greek mother of Virgo (Viola) and sometimes goes to visit her when spending time with her mother. They don't spend all the time together but Virgo knows it doesn't mean Persephone doesn't love her. ----------Looks!
