In this story, Aang is on a stealth mission to find Katara, this does take place after the show, so yes, im pretty sure they're dating... i didn't read the books, so forgive me... Anyway, Katara was ambushed by bandits, and Aang was left a note.. angered by he quickly was looking around the earth kingdom to find her.
