doh I wanted to share a memory about her saving the MC from certain death and now I am banned from sharing XD

Mc lives alone because they are a hardboiled detective who got drunk and wrote a letter to Santa as a joke and poof she's there and he has to learn how to deal with living with another, until he vanishes for a few weeks being hunted by gang retaliation, returning with his vehicle and body riddled with bullets bleeding out in the rain but she stayed and waited, even saved his life which pretty much solidified their relationship
