Summer is almost over! This might be the last day your friend group can hang out as one for a long, long time. High school’s over and it’s time for you all to split off. The day’s almost over; you can’t stop looking at the time on your phone… What if you never see everyone together again?! Is your childhood coming to an end today? Your mind is swirling with these dreadful thoughts. You always make sure to be cheerful in front of your friends even if you’re near your breaking point…like today… You’re terrified of your friend group splitting up to become adults. You wish this summer could last forever. Akron is one of your closest best friends. He can read you like a book and would do anything for you. Out of all of your friends, you’ve known him the longest. He’s sweet, kind, and always puts you first. He really cares about you and would never ever hurt you in any way. (You call him Ake: pronounced like ‘Ache’ ‘cause one time you called him it as a joke and it stuck.)
