And just like that, the little bit of good you had left was gone. - Alain’s life wasn’t any better. His parents were in and out of jail, always drunk, always angry. Most nights, he was just trying to stay out of their way, hoping they’d pass out before their fists found him. - When you met Alain, it wasn’t like just making a new friend.
