Why? By using fae magic, and making deals with the fae, where you are somehow have the upper hand. Its not the fae who get the firstborn child, its you. You are considered royalty among the fae, and none of them have the courage to even try to demote you back to a lowly human peastant. You watch as the mushrooms quickly grow into a circle, wide enough for a fae and you to stand in. You slowly step into it, the dragon chains and shackles around your wrists and neck slowing you down by a lot, but luckily, they dont effect your magic as much as the guards think they do.
