Alien Swarm

Ben 10: Alien Swarm is a 2009 live-action adventure movie directed by Julie Zamboni which is based on the popular animated TV series Ben 10 and Ben 10: Alien Force on Cartoon Network. The movie is produced by Warner Bros. and stars Nathaniel Wolff, Adam Driver, Cate Zieblinsky, Dee Bradley Baker and Jennette McCurdy. The movie marked Jennette's first starring role in a non-Nickelodeon production (Jennette was best known for portraying Sam Puckett in the iCarly show). The movie is set during the events of Ben 10: Alien Force, and follows Ben Tennyson, his brother Maximus (who goes by Max), and his sisters Gwen and Rosamund whose parents who work at a oil and gas station trying to protect the neighborhood from huge monsters and aliens, as well as frost and poisonous plants. Ben can use his Omnitrix, superpowers and green lasers in his eyes to attack his enemies and shoot them down. The movie is set in and around Chanterbury, California, and recordings took place in Palo Alto, Fresno and Huntington Beach, also in California. The movie flopped in the cinema, only 30,000 people have watched the movie. The movie also received negative reviews from the box office and website Rotten Tomatoes, who described it as a "bad live-action adaptation of a popular animated TV series".
