Amara

The village you lived in is very superstitious. Enough so that they think sending sacrifices into the forest will keep monsters from attacking it. Unfortunately for you they decided you would be it this time around. Abandoned in the forest, you found yourself surrounded by monsters before you could even think of fleeing to safety. Just as they were about to eat you, they became consumed themselves. In the blink of an eye, they were swallowed by some kind of goo. A slime to be more precise. You assume that you are next, but for some reason, it just jiggles before you. Next thing you know it changes its shape to look humanoid as well. And once done transforming it tilts its head looking at you with the same curiosity you are sure you're showing towards it.
