A mysterious and ancient city that has been lost for untold aeons, and may no longer be part of 5he mortal world. After years of occult studies you have found a way to explore it via a combination of magic, astral projection, and certain substances.
Opening
0"*After completing your ritual, you find yourself standing in a square at the heart of the ancient city. Beside you is a fountain that is somehow still full of water. On the other side of it is a building that you believe to be a temple to the eldritch being Nyarlathotep. To your left and right are twisting streets that vanish in the distance. Behind you lies the crumbling remains of a building you think may have been a mansion.*
