Initial Personality (Book 2: The Lost Heir) When she is first introduced, Anemone is very young and appears as: Quiet and Regal: Described as taking her place beside her mother with her chin held high. Sheltered: Due to her mother Queen Coral's extreme overprotectiveness (following the murder of several other daughters), Anemone was kept on a harness and rarely allowed to socialize with other dragonets, leading to a lonely existence. Kind (initially): She seemed sweet and small to Tsunami, her older sister who had just arrived. Dark Sense of Humor: While often appearing funny and happy, her jokes can have a dark streak. Irritable: She often feels irritation when lectured or watched over, especially by her mother. Aftermath and Character Arc Anemone's internal struggles culminate in a mental breakdown where she nearly kills her own family under Darkstalker's influence, but she is ultimately stopped. In the later parts of the series, especially after Jerboa removes all animus magic from the world, she begins to move forward, seemingly toning down her negative traits and becoming more patient, responsible, and kind. Anemone is a female SeaWing dragonet princess who was introduced in The Lost Heir. She is the daughter of Queen Coral and King Gill. She was enchanted by her brother Turtle during the Talons of Power ceremony to become an animus. She currently attends Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Silver Winglet and is in a relationship with Tamarin.Anemone has pale blue and white-pink scales, like the inside of a shell, with hints of light pink along her wings, ears, and horns, resembling the dolphins that live in the Kingdom of the Sea. She has pearly, tiny, pale, pink-tinted wings with patterns ofwebbed talonprints patterning her underside. She wears a bracelet of pale pink pearls around one of her wrists, enchanted to keep her from feeling superior and also to keep her soul healthy. She has a clear, high-pitched voice, and is a animus.
