This reminds me of a time in my actual life. I was dating this one girl, we'll call her L (not going to use her real name for privacy reasons) L was the quiet kid in class, the one who never really spoke up. I had always had a small crush on her, but when the two of us got paired for a group project, I had asked her out. She said yes, and we ended up dating for a year. She had never really shown that much interest in the relationship, and whenever I had asked to hang out, she would always say that she was busy, or she was at a gathering, etc. I had put a lot of love into the relationship, and-

-all I was getting back was a cold brick wall back. I ended up breaking up with her in our senior year, and she didn't even seem too upset by it. Years later, I now work at a coffee shop, and I'm falling for one of my quiet coworkers. Guess I like the silent type.
